Re: who wants this community?
Mon, October 1, 2007 - 4:33 PMI think you should gift it to this person:
people.tribe.net/karina
Why?
Karina is a web-coder who started one of the original SF Raves mailing lists and BBS services, originally hosted on Hyperreal. She also maintains another tribe called sf-raves. Having an sfraves and an sf-raves tribe is very confusing. I would love to see this tribe go to one of the people who had done more for promoting the rave scene in san francisco than any one else, so that she can merge the two different communites into one.
And nope, no personal connection at all. I only know of Karina by all that she has done. If I saw her in person, I would have no idea it was her. -

Re: who wants this community?
Tue, October 2, 2007 - 10:54 AMAs i don't know Karina personally, I am bound to get some facts wrong.
But still, she's done much for the community, and has a similarly named tribe on tribe.net. I think it would be great if the two tribes (all it's members) were merged into one big tribe.
For me, it would mean one click to get all the same info i now have to make multiple clicks to get. -
